Tuan Minh excellently won 9.5 points, surpassing 243 other players including Grandmaster Luca Moroni Jr. thanks to a better secondary index. This is the first time Le Tuan Minh has won at Freestyle Friday.

Grandmaster Le Tuan Minh showed his destructive form when he won all the points in the first 10 rounds and firmly held the leading position. Although he lost to Moroni in the final round, helping his opponent rise to second place, the overall victory still belonged to Tuan Minh.

He started perfectly with 6 consecutive wins before drawing with fellow Grandmaster Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son.

In the next three rounds, Le Tuan Minh faced and defeated strong grandmasters such as Arjun Erigaisi, Stamatis Kourkoulos-Arditis and Dmitrij Kollars.

In particular, the match with Arjun Erigaisi seemed to be a victory for the opponent because the pressure on the Vietnamese player was extremely great. But the situation suddenly changed in just one move.

With a fatal mistake in the 18th move with Ra3, Le Tuan Minh seized the opportunity very quickly by immediately punishing the mistake with the move Qxa3.

Although the young Indian player tried very hard afterwards, with his experience, Tuan Minh did not make any mistakes to win the final match.

With this championship, Le Tuan Minh pocketed 400 USD in prize money. Following him were Moroni (250 USD) and Lazavik (150 USD).
