Dianne Apen-Sadler is an editor and writer for many famous magazines and newspapers such as Wanderlust, Conde Nast Traveller, The Nation News, and Daily Mail. Recently, in the British travel magazine Wanderlust, she introduced to readers worldwide nine destinations that offer an "otherworldly" experience. Among them is Son Doong Cave in the "kingdom of caves" of Quang Binh , Vietnam.
According to Dianne, Son Doong Cave is very difficult to measure precisely. It's touted as the world's largest cave, measuring 9km in length, "enough to fit an entire New York City neighborhood with room to spare." Many of the world's tallest stalactites, reaching heights of up to 80m, are also found here, along with an underground river flowing through the cave.
Visitors can explore this cave on multi-day adventure tours. However, the number of visitors is limited and reservations must be made a year in advance to secure a spot.

Not only is it a paradise for nature enthusiasts and adventure travelers , Son Doong Cave has also served as the setting for the music video "Alone, Part II" (Alan Walker), and the "Planet Earth" series (BBC)...
