In Tan Khanh Trung commune, a strong storm blew off the roofs of 14 houses and a classroom of Tan Khanh Trung 2 Primary School. In response to the damage, Tan Khanh Trung Commune Youth Union deployed the model "Green Footprints - Quickly Overcoming Storms", mobilizing union members and youth to quickly go to affected households to help collect belongings, remove fallen trees, dismantle damaged corrugated iron roofs and repair and re-roof houses for people.

At the Youth Unions of other communes and wards, many practical and timely activities were also recorded. The Youth Union members and youths simultaneously took part in many specific tasks such as supporting the clearing of fallen trees, clearing rural roads, repairing houses with blown roofs, temporarily covering and cleaning the residential areas of severely affected households. In addition to material support activities, the teams also actively propagated and instructed people on measures to prevent and combat storms and rainstorms; promptly encouraged their spirit, mobilized social resources to support necessities and funds to help people overcome immediate difficulties.
