Dong Thap builds the first book street in the Mekong Delta.

The Cao Lanh City Book Street (Dong Thap province) has commenced construction and is expected to be put into use on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, 2022.

On September 21st, the People's Committee of Cao Lanh City ( Dong Thap province ) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Cao Lanh City Book Street at Van Mieu Park ( Ward 1, Cao Lanh City). This is the first book street in the Mekong Delta region.

The Cao Lanh City Book Street , implemented by Saigon Sea Star Joint Stock Company, covers a total area of ​​approximately 2,300 m² ^. The book street is designed with diverse and rich cultural spaces , including: 6 book stalls, 2 bookstore stalls, 8 stalls selling cultural products and souvenirs; it also features an exhibition area within the Temple of Literature , a book cafe, the executive office; and a stage and plaza for organizing book fairs and major events.
