Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project accelerates to the finish line

In the middle of the Northwest mountains and forests, the construction sites of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen power transmission line project are bustling every hour, with high determination from thousands of cadres, engineers and workers.

As a key national energy project invested by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), this project will contribute to ensuring national energy security, a vivid demonstration of the spirit of overcoming difficulties and solidarity of the Vietnamese electricity industry.

With a total length of 229.5km, the project is being accelerated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Despite facing complex terrain and harsh weather, construction units still ensure progress, safety and technical quality.

Located on a low hill in Lao Cai, the 17.8ha 500kV transformer station is being completed.
