The project to restore and embellish Xa Dan pagoda relic was given a sign by Dong Da district to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South.

On the morning of April 25, 2025, Dong Da District People's Committee organized the installation of signs for 2 projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) for the project of restoring and embellishing Xa Dan Pagoda and Phuong Lien Kindergarten.

Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan attended the ceremony.

Xa Dan Pagoda was ranked as a National Architectural and Artistic Relic by the Ministry of Culture (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in 1990. The project to restore and embellish Xa Dan Pagoda was approved by the People's Council of Dong Da District in Resolution No. 07/NQ-HDND dated April 13, 2023 and the People's Committee of Dong Da District approved the project in Decision No. 2841/QD-UBND dated September 25, 2023.

The project has a total investment of 41.8 billion VND, including: Restoring and embellishing the Tam Quan gate, Tam Bao house, model house, ancestral house; building new nunnery, kitchen, dining room, stele house, votive shrine, toilet, auxiliary works on Tran Huu Tuoc street; renovating the jade well and large lake, and beautifying the garden.

The project started in July 2024 and will be completed and put into use in April 2025. After being restored and embellished, Xa Dan Pagoda will be a destination attracting people to visit and sightsee, contributingto educating the younger generation about traditions.

The project to build Phuong Lien Kindergarten and renovate and expand Phuong Lien Primary School (No. 6 Dao Duy Anh) was approved by the People's Council of Dong Da District in Resolution No. 11/NQ-HDND dated June 30, 2023 and the People's Committee of Dong Da District approved the project to invest in construction works in Decisions No. 2839/QD-UBND dated September 25, 2023, Decision No. 2840/QD-UBND dated September 25, 2023. In which:

The Phuong Lien Kindergarten construction project has a total investment cost of 74.8 billion VND, including: Construction of a new main building consisting of 4 floors and 1 basement with classrooms and functional rooms; construction of a synchronous technical infrastructure system, auxiliary works outside the house (schoolyard, gate, fence); additional equipment.

The project to renovate and expand Phuong Lien Primary School has a total investment of 72.3 billion VND, including: Renovating and raising the main building from 3 floors to 4 floors; constructing a new building with 4 floors above ground and 1 basement; renovating and constructing a synchronous technical infrastructure system, auxiliary works outside the school (schoolyard, sewers, fences); adding equipment.

The two projects will start construction in May 2024 and be completed and put into use in March 2025.
