Military Region 5 organizes Ho Chi Minh room activities contest

(GLO)- On July 16, at Division 2 (An Khe ward, Gia Lai province), Military Region 5 held the opening ceremony of the 2nd Ho Chi Minh room activities contest in the armed forces of the Military Region in 2025. Colonel Do Thanh Xuan - Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 5 - attended and delivered the opening speech.

The Ho Chi Minh room activities contest took place from July 16 to 29 with the participation of 35 teams from agencies and units in the armed forces of Military Region 5. The contest judges will go directly to the agencies and units to judge the contests in the following contents: Ho Chi Minh room organization work; awareness contest; skills in organizing and operating Ho Chi Minh room.

Speaking at the opening of the contest, Colonel Do Thanh Xuan - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of Military Region 5 - said: The contest aims to correctly assess the current status of construction and the actual effectiveness of the Ho Chi Minh Department's activities in the entire Military Region. From there, the Political Department of the Military Region will propose measures to continue to consolidate, innovate, and improve the effectiveness of the cultural institutional system in general, and the Ho Chi Minh Department in particular; increasingly meeting the needs of the cultural and spiritual life of soldiers at the grassroots units.

In that spirit, the Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 5 requested the Organizing Committee and the Jury to organize and run the Contest strictly, seriously, thoughtfully, and evaluate the results objectively, honestly, and fairly for each competition of the agency and unit. The agencies and units must strictly implement the Contest regulations, the regulations of the Organizing Committee and the host unit; ensure absolute safety. Unite, humbly learn from each other, bring all the sense of responsibility, ability, and experience to bring the highest results at the Contest.
