Ca Mau strengthens cooperation with Swiss partners at the Switzerland-Vietnam Economic Forum 2025

On November 4, a delegation from Ca Mau province led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan attended the Swiss-Viet Economic Forum 2025 in Da Nang city.

The event was co-organized by the Swiss Embassy in Vietnam, the People’s Committee of Da Nang City and the Swiss-Vietnam Economic Forum (SVEF), with the theme “Innovation Partnership for Sustainable Growth: Connecting Vietnam to the Regional and Global Ecosystem”. This year’s forum brought together more than 150 senior delegates from the Government, international organizations, businesses and academia of the two countries.

Speaking at the forum, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan introduced the potential, strengths and development orientation of Ca Mau province in the fields of: Renewable energy, marine economy, high-tech agriculture , digital transformation, eco-tourism, start-ups and innovation. Thereby, affirming the determination to make Ca Mau become the center of innovation, energy and green economy of the Mekong Delta region.

Leaders of Ca Mau province worked with representatives of J3D.AI Company.

Within the framework of the forum, the Ca Mau province delegation had bilateral meetings with many Swiss partners, including: Swiss EP Program, Koltiva Company, EGW New World Energy/Hygen and J3D.AI Company.

The parties discussed cooperation opportunities in developing the startup and innovation ecosystem, sustainable agriculture associated with product traceability, clean energy, as well as the application of artificial intelligence and digital transformation in public administration. The working contents are aimed at signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Ca Mau province and Swiss partners in the coming time.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan affirmed: Ca Mau province always creates favorable conditions in terms of procedures, infrastructure and cooperation mechanisms to effectively implement initiatives with Swiss partners, contributing to promoting sustainable development and international integration.
