QNgTV- Faced with the complicated developments of storm Kalmaegi (storm No. 13) with strong intensity and fast movement into the South Central region, many retail systems have urgently activated emergency response plans across the system, increased the supply of goods and offered promotions to support people's shopping.

A representative of MM Mega Market Vietnam said that in response to storm Kalmaegi (storm No. 13), the unit has proactively deployed plans to ensure a stable supply of goods and safe operations at centers and warehouses in the affected areas, including Da Nang , Quy Nhon and Nha Trang.

Specifically, the supermarket increased the output of vegetables and fruits by up to 30% compared to normal days. The supply is transported from MM Mega Market's Da Lat Supply Station to ensure a fresh and stable source of goods. Instant noodles, canned foods, and bottled water are continuously replenished. Meat, seafood, and dried foods are also increased by about 30% to meet the increased consumer demand.

This unit affirmed that supermarkets in the Central region will be open continuously to serve customers until further notice. At the same time, priority will be given to employees who are far away, in dangerous areas or pregnant, and a storm duty team will be arranged on-site to ensure safety and maintain stable operations during the emergency weather period.
