(GLO)-On the morning of November 4, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich led a working delegation to conduct a field survey at a number of tourist attractions in Quy Nhon Nam Ward. Accompanying the delegation were leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches and the People's Committee of Quy Nhon Nam Ward.

The delegation inspected two typical science - education - tourism complexes of the province: the Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation; and the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ISICE).

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich highly appreciated the role of the two centers in forming the province's unique "science tourism " brand. At the same time, she emphasized the importance of effectively connecting tours and tourist routes associated with educational activities and scientific experiences. The Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, branches and units to support and create maximum conditions for these centers to fully develop their potential, attracting more tourists and international scientists.

Next, the delegation visited Quy Hoa leper village and Ghenh Rang tourist area. These are two places of great cultural, historical, spiritual and natural landscape value.

After listening to the report and inspecting the actual conservation and exploitation of tourism services, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich directed that special attention should be paid to protecting the pristine natural landscape, green, clean and fresh environment.

For Quy Hoa Leprosy Village, it is necessary to promote the humanistic and historical values ​​associated with the life and career of poet Han Mac Tu, the architecture of the leprosy village, and the lives of patients here, aiming to implement the planning to build a Geriatric Center, rehabilitation and resort in the Central region. At Ghenh Rang tourist area, it is necessary to review and improve service management and quality of tourist services associated with protecting the national scenic relic of Ghenh Rang.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich emphasized that the cluster of tourist attractions in Quy Nhon Nam ward (including scientific tourism, cultural-historical tourism and landscape tourism) has a special position. Departments, branches and localities need to have close coordination, build local tourism products, and connect professionally to effectively exploit potentials, contributing to the overall tourism development of the province.
