Travel Destination Experience Month 2025: Converging the quintessence, connecting emotions

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), towards the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, Lam Dong launched the program "Month of experiencing Lam Dong province's tourist destinations in 2025" - a series of large-scale cultural, sports and tourism events, organized synchronously throughout the province from September 6 to October 5, 2025.

The “Experience Month” is not only a series of events in response to the National Tourism Year 2025 and World Tourism Day (September 27), but also an effort to build the brand “Lam Dong - Convergence of Excellence, Connection of Emotions” on the domestic and international tourism map. The program includes 8 main activities along with many supporting programs in various localities. A highlight is the opening ceremony held on September 6, 2025 at Lam Vien Square (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat), featuring a special art program and a documentary screening introducing Lam Dong's tourism potential. The event will be broadcast live on Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television, as well as other affiliated channels.

Simultaneously, the province conducted tourism surveys in three key areas, developed new tour products, organized tourism promotion conferences, and notably, held the Announcement Ceremony for National-Level Tourist Destinations and the Conference on Regional Tourism Development in Gia Nghia, marking an important step in regional linkages in the Central Highlands. The exhibition space showcasing OCOP products, high-tech agriculture , and Lam Dong cuisine from September 12-17 at the fountain area (Lam Vien Square) promises to be a major attraction for visitors. Here, agricultural products, traditional handicrafts, local specialties, and cuisine will be presented in an open, interactive, and welcoming space.

A key highlight is the organization of a cultural space dedicated to ethnic groups and the ceremony to officially designate the Avalokitesvara statue of Bac Binh as a national treasure at the Provincial Museum, taking place throughout September. This is an opportunity to honor the cultural heritage of indigenous ethnic groups, promote traditional handicrafts, books, art, intangible cultural heritage, etc.

Throughout the "Experience Month," tourism businesses simultaneously launched promotional programs to stimulate demand with products bearing the message "1 trip - 3 experiences," encouraging tourists to fully explore the beauty of Lam Dong - from flowers to the sea, from nature to heritage. At the commune, ward, and special zone levels, many cultural, sports , and community tourism programs were also organized, creating a chain of activities that spread widely among the people and tourists…
