These focused on key issues in the fields of agriculture, farmers, and rural areas.

In his speech guiding the discussion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the spirit of self-reliance, creativity and proactive adaptation of farmers in the new context, affirming that each farmer is a soldier in the field, always striving to overcome difficulties to win in production and development.

This year's conference has the theme "Application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in farmers". The focus is on discussing solutions to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on developing science and technology and digital transformation in agriculture; promoting the application of technical advances and modern technology to form a sustainable agricultural production chain; improving the quality of plant and animal varieties; promoting traceability, deep processing and building agricultural product brands.
The conference also mentioned the role of farmers in international integration, the requirement for high-quality agricultural production to meet export standards. At the same time, it emphasized the task of institutional reform, simplifying administrative procedures and unlocking land, natural resources and the environment to serve agricultural and rural development.

Many delegates at the Conference focused on promoting the private sector in rural areas, supporting farmers, individual businesses, and cooperatives to expand production, contributing to the goal of double-digit economic growth in the coming period.
Solutions for disaster prevention and control, flood mitigation, and adaptation to climate change were also discussed in depth, aiming to minimize damage and ensure the safety of production and people's lives.

Previously, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee organized the 2025 Provincial People's Committee Chairman's Dialogue with Farmers in both direct and online forms to 124 communes, wards and special zones in the area. With the theme "Supporting farmers to develop sustainable agriculture to adapt to climate change", the Conference attracted nearly 5,000 farmers, cooperatives and cooperatives to attend.
Lam Dong identifies farmers as the center of the transition to green, circular and smart agriculture; and is implementing many programs and policies to promote rapid and sustainable development in this field.

The Provincial People's Committee requests that departments, agencies, businesses, and farmers focus on implementing solutions to minimize natural disaster risks and proactively adapt to climate change; promote the application of science and technology and digital transformation; develop smart agriculture; expand markets, improve the quality, value, and competitiveness of agricultural products; build and strengthen cooperative economic models, and promote production-processing-consumption linkages to create momentum for sustainable growth.

The Prime Minister's Conference on Dialogue with Vietnamese Farmers in 2025 continues to affirm the role of a direct dialogue forum between the Party, the State and farmers nationwide; an opportunity for farmers to express their thoughts and aspirations and at the same time receive major directions and instructions from the Government. Thereby contributing to building a modern, effective, sustainable agriculture and improving farmers' lives in the new development stage.
