Party Committees of Pleiku and Tam Quan wards awarded Party badges to Party members in the 7-11 session.

(GLO)- On the morning of November 4, the Pleiku Ward Party Committee (Gia Lai Province) solemnly held a ceremony to award the 80-year Party membership badge to comrade Le Thang, a member of Party Cell 5 Hoa Lu.

Comrade Le Thang was born in 1923, from Dien Ban Dong ward, Da Nang city; he was admitted to the Party on October 14, 1947. For nearly 80 years in the Party, he has held many important positions from the grassroots to the industry level, and was the Deputy Economic Director of Hong Ha Stationery Factory.

After 1975, he was transferred to Gia Lai- Kon Tum province, holding the position of Deputy Head of the Industrial Department. When he retired, he continued to participate in activities in the residential area, was exemplary in all activities, and was trusted by the people and local party members.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuoc - Secretary of Pleiku Ward Party Committee - affirmed: This is a special honor not only for comrade Le Thang personally but also the pride of the entire Pleiku Ward Party Committee. Examples like him are living proof of the spirit of loyalty and exemplary conduct, a source of motivation and spiritual support for generations of cadres and party members today to follow.

It is known that in this 7-11 period, Pleiku Ward Party Committee has 53 comrades awarded Party Badges at the milestones of 80, 60, 55, 50, 45, 40 and 30 years of Party membership; the 80-year Badge was awarded early at home to comrade Le Thang due to his old age and poor health.

On the same day, the Tam Quan Ward Party Committee also solemnly held a ceremony to award Party badges on November 7 to 12 Party members. Of which, 4 comrades received the 55-year Party badge, 1 comrade received the 50-year Party badge, 1 comrade received the 45-year Party badge and 6 comrades received the 30-year Party badge.

Party Secretary of the ward Le Minh Duc affirmed: The Party badge is a noble reward, showing the Party's gratitude and recognition for the great contributions and dedication of Party members in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

At the same time, he expressed his hope that comrades would continue to set good examples, promote their sense of responsibility and experience, and contribute to building the Tam Quan Ward Party Committee increasingly clean and strong.
