Weather forecast February 17, 2024: Strong temperature increase in the North, hot weather in the South

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (February 17), the North and provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue will have rain in some places, fog and light fog in the early morning; sunny in the afternoon; temperatures tend to increase sharply.

In the remaining areas of the country, there will be scattered showers at night; sunny days, except for the Southeast region, where it will be hot and extremely hot in some places.

Notably, in the coming days, the North will maintain a pattern of rain in some places, early morning fog and scattered light fog, sunny afternoon; in the Northwest and the West of the North Central region from February 19-22, there will be hot sun in some places.

Around the night of February 22-24, this area is likely to have scattered showers and rain; from the night of February 22-23, the weather will turn cold.
