The delegation also worked with the People's Committee of Yen Son district on the implementation status and results of resolutions, programs, projects and proposals in the fields of culture, sports and tourism in the area.
According to the report of Yen Son district leaders, in 2023, the district attracted 270,000 visitors, reaching 90% of the set target. The district is focusing on planning and building the Cao Lan Ethnic Cultural Village in Dong Son village, Chan Son commune, associated with Ngoi La lake resort, Nui La ecological area in Lang Quan commune, Chan Son; continuing to plan the Dao Ethnic Cultural Village in Lang Quan commune, Tan Tien; preserving and promoting festivals, traditional markets, Lao revolutionary relic site in My Bang commune, ATK relic site in Kim Quan commune.

Currently, the area has the My Lam high-end resort urban area project, phase B in My Bang commune; Golf course in Nhu Khe and Nhu Han communes. The district selects beautiful farms in communes with fruit growing areas to develop agricultural tourism, serving tourists to visit and experience. By 2023, the district will have 68 OCOP products, including 13 4-star products, 55 3-star products...
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong appreciated the efforts of Yen Son district in implementing Resolution No. 29 of the Provincial Party Committee on developing tourism into an important economic sector of the province.
He affirmed that Yen Son has great potential in terms of natural landscapes, historical relics, cultural identity, and many outstanding agricultural products, however, the development is not commensurate with its strengths. He suggested that Yen Son district focus on developing tourism in a focused, key, systematic, and large-scale manner, paying attention to infrastructure of roads, telecommunications, and the internet.
The group visited the check-in point of Hong garden, Minh Phong residential group, Yen Son town.
The district needs good policies to attract many organizations and individuals with financial capacity and business reputation to invest in tourist areas, destinations and tourism products; must be more drastic in directing, operating, reviewing goals and targets, based on reality to build outstanding, unique and branded tourism products.
The comrade assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the lead in coordinating with departments and branches to support Yen Son district in developing culture, sports and tourism in the right direction, meeting the set requirements.
