On November 15th, the leaders of Binh Tien commune People's Committee (Huong Tra town, Thua Thien Hue province) confirmed that police forces had just rescued a married couple trapped in their house buried under rocks and soil due to a landslide.

According to initial information, at around 11:00 AM on November 15th, heavy and prolonged rain caused a large amount of soil and rocks behind Mr. T.D.M.'s house to slide down and flood his house (51 years old, residing in Dong Hoa village, Binh Tien commune).
At the time of the incident, Mr. M. and his wife were inside their house and were unable to escape, becoming trapped and buried under the mud.

Upon receiving the report, the authorities and local residents quickly arrived at the scene to rescue the victim.
By 12 PM the same day, the authorities had successfully rescued Mr. M. and his wife and taken them to the hospital for emergency treatment.
According to the leaders of Binh Tien commune People's Committee, the local authorities mobilized more than 40 people, including commune and village forces, along with local residents, to urgently rescue the victims. The rescue team also had to break through a section of the road to get the victims out.
