The Hanoi urban railway project, Cat Linh - Ha Dong line, is invested by the Railway Project Management Board. This project has a total investment of more than 18,000 billion VND, and is one of the urban transport infrastructure projects that has received special attention from the public due to many delays.

The Yen Vien - Pha Lai - Ha Long - Cai Lan railway project is implemented by the Railway Project Management Board. The project covers an area of over 309 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 7,700 billion VND.
The project to modernize the railway transport control center (OCC), also invested by the Railway Project Management Board, has a total investment of more than 347 billion VND.
The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Tuan Giao - Lai Chau section (in Dien Bien province), invested by Thang Long Project Management Board, with a total investment of nearly 2,360 billion VND.
The project to upgrade and expand National Highway 9 from Cua Viet Port to National Highway 1, invested by the Vietnam Road Administration (now the Vietnam Road Administration), has a total investment capital of more than 440 billion VND, using surplus capital from the Vietnam Road Asset Management Project borrowed from the World Bank.
The project to invest in the construction of the Bac Giang - Lang Son City Expressway, combined with the reinforcement of the National Highway 1 (in Bac Giang province and the old Lang Son province), is implemented under the BOT contract form, with the Bac Giang - Lang Son BOT Joint Stock Company as the investor. The project has a scale of about 302 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 12,200 billion VND.
The Vicem Tower Project is invested by Vietnam Cement Corporation (Vicem). The project is built on an area of over 0.8 hectares, with a total investment of about VND 2,743 billion. The project started in May 2011 with a design of a 31-storey tower and 4 basements, located at Lot 10E6, Cau Giay New Urban Area, Pham Hung Street (Hanoi). In June 2025, the Ministry of Construction issued a document requesting Vicem to focus on completing the project according to the direction of the Prime Minister.
The inspection aims to comprehensively assess the causes of slow progress, low investment efficiency, and prolonged backlog, and at the same time clarify signs of violations, if any, to promptly handle and prevent loss of state budget.
As planned, the Government Inspectorate will issue inspection conclusions before September 25, 2025.
The Government Inspectorate will directly inspect 5 major projects under the Ministry of Education and Training, including: The investment project to build the Kien Giang branch of Nha Trang University, with a total investment of 1,223 billion VND; The investment project to build Tay Bac University, with a total investment of 627.5 billion VND; The project to build concentrated technical facilities at Thai Nguyen University, with a total investment of 600.4 billion VND; The project to build a modern library system in Hanoi (now of the Open University - Da Nang), with a total investment of 435.26 billion VND; The project to clear the land of Hue University, with a total investment of 120 billion VND.
