Vinh Tan Strait - a beautiful landscape

Việt NamViệt Nam05/09/2023

Mr. Minke - a French professor once crossed the Vinh Tan - Ca Na Strait with us, sitting in the car, rolling down the window and looking towards the sea, he exclaimed in Vietnamese: "Oh, so beautiful! On the left are towering mountains, on the right is the immense sea, in the middle are winding roads, like a beautiful painting...".

Tourists, in addition to flying, can also travel by road or rail to the South and North, and can see the beautiful scenery of Vinh Tan - Ca Na strait. Because here, the Truong Son mountain range juts out close to the coast. It is also the "meeting place" where the road, rail, and waterway come together to see the mountains, the sea, the pure white sand beaches, and the largest thermal power plant in Vietnam, Vinh Tan. Blue sea, white sand, rocky cliffs, mountains, massive industrial power fortresses, etc. have created a beautiful Vinh Tan - Ca Na with roads curving together in an S-shape along the coast close to the foot of the mountain.

Vinh Tan - Ca Na Strait is more than 3 km long, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, with white sand strips caressed and embraced by the waves. When the sun sets at the foot of the mountain, tiny crabs emerge from the sand and run around, and when they hear the sound, they immediately crawl back into their holes, making them very difficult to catch. Every year, this place attracts many tourists to stop and admire this magnificent beauty. From Vinh Tan - Ca Na Strait, looking out to sea is the image of a small island, called Cu Lao Cau by the locals, in Tuy Phong district. Although the island is uninhabited, many tourists rent boats from the locals to go to the island for a picnic and explore the wild, rustic features of the small island. Visitors to the island often encounter bird nests in caves or turtle egg nests under a thin layer of sand... The most beautiful scene is still standing from Cu Lao Cau looking towards the center of Vinh Tan commune, clearly showing the overlapping mountains, the clear blue sea, the towering chimneys of thermal power plants or large ships docking at Vinh Tan port to unload goods.

In the last days of August, at Vinh Tan Strait, the weather is mildly sunny, the sea breeze blows strongly, the sound of waves lapping against the white sand... everything seems to blend into the sky, nature, the mind is relaxed and the heart is refreshed. Another interesting thing is that the Truong Son mountain range jutting out to create Vinh Tan - Ca Na Strait has many mysterious caves such as: Hang Ong Phat, Ghenh Ong Nong, Gieng Duc... On the mountain slopes, mostly rocky, there are occasionally yellow apricot trees blooming out of season, spreading a fragrant scent, making people's hearts flutter every time they pass this strait.
