Dong Kho commune needs to promote agricultural economic development towards commodity production.

Comrade Nguyen Van Quang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Inspection Committee of Lam Dong Province, attended and directed the Congress. Also attending the Congress were leaders of provincial departments and agencies, and 141 party members representing 682 party members from the entire commune.

Dong Kho commune was formed by merging Huy Khiem, Dong Kho, La Ngau, and Duc Binh communes, with a natural area of over 268 km² and a population of 30,885 people. The Dong Kho commune Party Committee was established from 4 Party Committees with 38 grassroots Party branches and subordinate Party cells.

Comrade Giap Ha Bac, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Kho commune, delivered a speech at the Congress.

During the period 2020-2025, the Party Committee and people of Dong Kho commune united and strived to basically achieve and surpass the set targets. The annual cultivated area is over 16,200 hectares, with the commune having a high-quality rice growing area of more than 1,200 hectares. The commune has 1 OCOP product that achieved 3 stars and 2 OCOP products that achieved 4 stars.

In Party building, annual evaluations show that the Party Committee has consistently been rated as having successfully completed its tasks. By the end of 2024, 10 out of 14 schools in the commune will have achieved national standards level 1, and the commune will have met 18 out of 19 criteria for new rural development. Average per capita income in 2020 was 40.5 million VND/year, and is estimated to reach 56 million VND/year by the end of 2025. Political security and social order and safety are maintained and stable.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Dong Kho Commune Party Committee strives to achieve and exceed the annual budget revenue target by 7-8%, and reduce the multidimensional poverty rate by 0.8-1% annually. The commune aims to maintain security and order, ensure strong military and national defense, and achieve 100% of the military recruitment target. Furthermore, 100% of children under one year old will receive all necessary vaccinations, and the forest cover rate will remain stable at 57%.

The commune strives to increase per capita income by 1.5-1.6 times by 2030 compared to 2025, maintain 100% of schools meeting national standards level 1, and achieve national standards in healthcare. The rate of trained labor will reach 82%. The commune aims to achieve advanced new rural standards in the 2025-2030 period. Annually, over 80% of Party organizations and Party members will be rated as having completed their tasks well or better.

Delivering a guiding speech at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Van Quang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Inspection Committee of Lam Dong Province, congratulated the Party Committee and people of Dong Kho commune on the achievements they have made in the past period.

Emphasizing the policy of abolishing district-level administrations and merging communes, including the establishment of the new Dong Kho commune, as a major strategic decision of the Central Government, the Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission urged the commune to quickly stabilize its organization, build a strong sense of unity, and unify its will and actions throughout the Party Committee. He also stressed the need to identify key tasks to be implemented to successfully achieve the goals of the Party Congress Resolution, with clear responsibilities, clear targets, clear results, clear deadlines, and clear roadmaps.
