In April, the total electricity output of the power plants that EPS is responsible for repairing and maintaining was more than 3.2 billion kWh, and the plants were continuously mobilized at high load levels. Accordingly, EPS repair workshops arranged additional staff on duty; coordinated with power generation units to monitor and check the operating status of equipment systems, and be ready to respond quickly and handle emergency situations when power plants run at full capacity and continuously.

In parallel, EPS effectively applies RCM and RMS technologies to detect equipment abnormalities early during operation. In the first 4 months of the year, the RMS system detected and warned early about 17 abnormal phenomena of increased temperature and vibration at Vinh Tan 2 and Mong Duong 1 power plants, contributing to ensuring that the units are always maintained in the best condition.
It is forecasted that heat waves will increase in the coming time. EPS continues to implement repair and maintenance solutions to improve the availability of power plants, and promote the processing of replacement materials to proactively meet the supply of materials for system equipment in repair situations.
