Universal's Five Nights at Freddy's teaser is 48 seconds long, and opens with a TV showing children playing in the once-popular Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where animatronics including Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate Fox are used to entertain the children.

Blumhouse head Jason Blum said Five Nights at Freddy's was a natural fit for the horror studio (the project was originally owned by Warner Bros. but later dropped, and Blumhouse and Striker Entertainment joined forces to produce the film). "Our team has been dedicated to bringing Scott Cawthon's world to the screen. Rest assured, the project is worth the wait," he said. Five Nights at Freddy's is scheduled to hit theaters on October 27 this year.
