It is no coincidence that the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) is called a "national concert". Although it officially started at 6:30 a.m. on April 30, the Bach Dang wharf area - where the entire artillery, helicopter and fighter jet firing program and military parade could be watched - was full from the evening of April 29. The atmosphere became even more exciting after 21 cannon shots were fired into the sky. |

The 5,000 mAh battery is the reason I chose the Galaxy A56 5G as my companion during this "concert". I know that I cannot or will have a hard time finding a place to plug in the charger, so a compact and durable smartphone is the optimal solution. Blending in with the crowd on Ton Duc Thang Street, I am confident that I will be able to capture the "one-of-a-kind" moments. |

The reality was exactly like that. Leading the air force from Bien Hoa airport (Dong Nai) were 9 helicopters of the Vietnam People's Army, arranged in a 3-4-3 formation, entering the center of Ho Chi Minh City. The Party flag and national flag flying in the sky along with the cheers and praise of the people created a proud moment. |

The most anticipated and explosive performance was the release of heat traps by the Yak130 and Su-30MK2 fighters. In the military, heat traps act as an active defense measure to protect fighters from heat-seeking missiles. Therefore, witnessing heat traps in peacetime is something that makes every citizen more proud and appreciate the independence that our ancestors had to pay for with their blood. Thanks to the upgraded camera speed, I tried to guess the direction of the fighter's flight, then gently swiped the shutter button to take consecutive shots with the Galaxy A56 5G. |

Like me, many people also took advantage of the opportunity to find a good location to welcome the parade. Ton Duc Thang Street, the intersection of Me Linh Square, was the gathering point of Line 2, which meant we would be able to welcome 7 military units, 1 flag team and a command vehicle. |

I was lucky to witness the moment the army "walked in the arms of the people". The feeling of pride that arose in my heart made it difficult for any Vietnamese person to hold back their tears. Thanks to the wide-angle, super-wide-angle and 2x zoom cameras, I could flexibly adjust to capture many angles while standing still. Adjusting the color of vintage films to increase the emotional factor has also become easier than ever. I just need to find a photo with a satisfactory color filter on photography groups as a sample, the Galaxy A56 5G will automatically recognize the parameters to "copy" appropriately through the Create Filters feature. All operations only take a few seconds, both fast and ensuring synchronization for the entire album. |

The soldiers stayed behind to interact with the people after completing their mission. This is the time for everyone to take selfies to save memorable memories. With the Galaxy A56 5G, selfie portraits will be upgraded with the Best Face feature, allowing users to customize their expressions to get the most satisfying photo. President Ho Chi Minh once said: "The army and the people must always be united". I have never seen that image appear as clearly as on this great occasion. When a soldier shouted: "See you in 10 years!", I and many people around could not hide our choked emotions. |

After the ceremony, I chose to go to a coffee shop on Dang Dung Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) to rest and learn more about history. Here, I not only enjoyed coffee, but also had the opportunity to learn about the structure of the unique bunkers and secret message hiding places of the legendary Saigon Special Forces. From the mobilet used as a cover to the sewing machine, clock, cassette player... all were kept original. |

Many international tourists shared that they were very curious about secret bunkers after watching videos on social networks. Here, after lifting the floor tiles, visitors can experience crawling down into the dark bunker - a shelter, storage of weapons, maps, secret letters... of the Saigon Special Forces. The unique point is that the bunker does not only have one entrance, but is designed with stairs connecting to the upper floor, ensuring safety when performing secret missions. Despite low light conditions, the Nightography HDR night mode helps me capture images with the highest detail. |

At the end of April 30, Ho Chi Minh City organized an unprecedented large-scale fireworks display at 30 locations. I prepared a position on Calmette Bridge (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) to both watch the fireworks and take photos of the city's iconic structures. With the Galaxy A56 5G's 50 MP camera, I can freely shoot, crop and edit without worrying about blurry photos. Combined with the Nightography HDR night shooting mode, the photos are "upgraded", reducing noise while preserving details. At the end of a day of experiencing the "national concert", I feel lucky not only to live in national peace, but also to have the opportunity to be in the city to directly experience this proud atmosphere. |
