Nearly 250 farmers participate in the "Agricultural Promotion Fair" Program

- On June 5, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center (under the Department of Agriculture and Environment) coordinated with the Cao Loc District Agricultural Service Center to organize the "Agricultural Extension Market" communication program at Gia Cat Commune Market, Cao Loc District.

Officers of the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center directly advise people on how to use pesticides to ensure safety for crops.

The program attracted nearly 250 farmers to participate in consulting and technical guidance activities in the form of direct, intuitive interaction, creating ease of understanding, ease of remembering, and ease of following. Here, people were directly instructed by officers of the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center and the District Agricultural Service Center on the techniques of composting manure and agricultural by-products with Trichodema biological products; disease diagnosis techniques using external clinical examination methods, dissecting chickens to accurately determine the disease from the internal organs inside the chicken's body; instructions on how to distinguish poor quality inorganic fertilizers circulating on the market.

Farmers are also consulted on issues arising in production practices; introduced and provided with veterinary medicines, pesticides, corn and rice varieties, and agricultural materials; and watch videos introducing the results of applying technical advances in agricultural production.

It is known that in June 2025, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center will implement 4 "Agricultural Extension Market" communication programs in Bac Son, Cao Loc and Huu Lung districts. Through the "Agricultural Extension Market" program, people will not only gain more knowledge in developing cultivation and livestock farming, but also help the functional sector understand the thoughts and needs of the people to build effective communication programs that are close to the reality of each locality.
