Nearly 30 volunteers participated in cleaning the Da River embankment

Dong Tien Ward Youth Union in collaboration with Hoa Binh Trash Lovers Association and Hoa Binh City Heart Connection Club recently organized the activity "For the environment and landscape of Da River".

Volunteers collect and sort trash to transport to the treatment site.

The activity attracted nearly 30 volunteers in Hoa Binh city to participate in collecting garbage on the right bank of the Da River, the area under Hoa Binh bridge in Dong Tien ward (Hoa Binh city).

Union members, youth and volunteers used gloves, sacks, shovels to collect garbage, clear bushes, and clean up the environment along the Da River embankment, about 1 km long, from the foot of Hoa Binh Bridge to Huu Nghi Bridge. This area contained many types of garbage, from plastic bags, broken ceramics, old utensils, to syringes...

Waste is classified into household waste, agricultural waste, plastic waste and construction material debris. Then it is transported to waste treatment plants and recycling sites. This is one of the practical actions that contributes to protecting the clean and beautiful urban landscape.
