Nearly 500 people walk in response to Vietnam Tourism Day

(CT) - On the morning of July 4, Can Tho City Tourism Association coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the city to organize the Can Tho City Tourism Sports Festival, celebrating the 65th anniversary of Vietnam Tourism Day (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2025).

The sports festival took place on the morning of July 4 at the Can Tho City Sports Center, with a walking program with nearly 500 participants and a men's mini soccer competition. The walking route was about 2km through the streets around the Can Tho City Sports Center. The soccer competition had the participation of 5 teams from agencies, units, companies, and businesses operating in the tourism sector.

The sports festival aims to create a joyful atmosphere, enhance propaganda about the history and significance of Vietnam Tourism Day 9-7. Thereby, creating opportunities for exchange and competition among officials, employees and workers in the tourism industry of Can Tho City.
