Today, September 14 and tomorrow, September 15, are the last two days for people and tourists to experience this largest and most meaningful event.
By the end of September 13, the National Achievement Exhibition had welcomed nearly 8.6 million visitors, with nearly 1.3 million visitors on September 13 alone – the highest number since its opening, breaking the record of previous days. The organizers expect that when the exhibition ends, it will reach a record of 10 million visitors after 19 days of opening.
This is an impressive number, demonstrating the strong attraction of a national political and cultural event, and at the same time showing the public's affection, pride and interest in the country's development over the past 80 years.
The National Achievements Exhibition was held at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ) from August 28 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.
With the theme of 80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness , the Exhibition was organized on the largest scale ever, with the full participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths.
The exhibition introduces the achievements of nearly 180 professions in all fields, with many documents, materials, artifacts, machinery and equipment, documentaries, reports, vividly and comprehensively reflecting the outstanding achievements during the 80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness of our nation under the leadership of the Party.
The exhibition brings together thousands of artifacts, images, models and modern technology applications to comprehensively depict Vietnam's achievements in the fields of politics, economics, culture, society, science - technology, national defense - security, foreign affairs...
In a space of tens of thousands of square meters, visitors have the opportunity to go through a vivid "time journey", from historical milestones of building and defending the country, wars of independence, to achievements of innovation, international integration and aspirations for prosperous and happy development.
The special highlight of the exhibition is the thematic display areas, recreating typical stories of each industry and region. LED projection technology, virtual reality, digital interaction are strongly applied, helping viewers not only observe but also experience directly.
Many tourists shared that they clearly felt the country's great progress, from modern infrastructure, scientific and technological achievements, to traditional cultural values being preserved and promoted.
According to the Organizing Committee, the number of visitors continuously increased during the weekends and peaked on September 2. Welcoming nearly 1.3 million visitors in just one day, September 13, exceeded expectations, requiring organization, security, and guidance to be maximized while still ensuring safety, convenience, and civilization.
The exhibition will stop receiving visitors at 4:00 p.m. on September 15. The closing ceremony will take place at 8:00 p.m. the same day at the North Courtyard of the National Exhibition Center and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
The closing program promises to be a special artistic highlight with the concert I Love My Fatherland , bringing together many famous artists, bringing performances praising the homeland and country, arousing national pride.
The program ended with a brilliant high-altitude fireworks display, symbolizing the joy and achievements that Vietnam has achieved in the past 80 years.
This is not only a farewell to a major event but also a message conveying the country's aspirations for sustainable development and continued progress in the new period.
With a huge number of visitors, rich content and modern organization, the National Achievements Exhibition has become an important cultural and historical "meeting place" in 2025, so that each citizen can appreciate the past, be confident in the present and believe in the bright future of the Fatherland.
