For the first time, the Ministry of National Defense mobilized many types of modern weapons to participate in the exhibition.

Many modern weapons are introduced to the public for the first time.

According to Major General Le Quang Tuyen, Deputy Head of the General Department of Defense Industry, implementing the tasks assigned by the Government in the Project to organize the "National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)", the Ministry of National Defense has presided over the implementation of display, design, construction and operation at the exhibition with the exhibition space themed "Development Creation" in an indoor area of over 700 m2.

Next, the Ministry of National Defense planned the site, allocated display space, selected weapons and defense technical equipment symbolizing the strength of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA); organized the design and display of an outdoor space with the theme "Sword and Shield" in an outdoor area of 23,569 m2. The Ministry of National Defense mobilized enterprises under the Ministry's management with production and business activities in the fields of aerospace and telecommunications to participate in the space with the theme "Aspiration for the Sky".

Also according to Major General Le Quang Tuyen, 96 weapons and technical equipment of 61 types were mobilized for outdoor display, 334 products including historical items, copies, restorations, images, weapons and equipment, logistics and technical products such as: Military uniforms, special military provisions, materials, military medical equipment displayed and introduced in the indoor area; more than 180 videos and clips on LED screens. 35 agencies and units mobilized nearly 2,300 officers, soldiers, workers and employees; of which 1,662 comrades were directly officers, professional soldiers, soldiers and other forces along with indirect forces serving the exhibition.

According to Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics , Deputy Head of the Exhibition Steering Committee of the Ministry of National Defense, the indoor and outdoor exhibition areas of the Ministry of National Defense have attracted and welcomed a large number of high-ranking leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, delegations and people from all over the country, high-ranking delegations and international friends. According to statistics of the Exhibition Organizing Committee, by the end of September 15, there were about 10 million visitors to the exhibition. To meet the requirements of welcoming and serving a large number of visitors to the exhibition and activities to welcome international delegations, the organization work has been carried out professionally and methodically. The Organizing Committee has arranged reception and explanation forces that have been carefully selected and trained, ensuring both in-depth knowledge and a formal and standard manner to introduce and welcome visitors.

Logistics and technical work are guaranteed.

Major General Le Quang Tuyen said that the reception, logistics and service teams at the exhibition worked at high intensity, closely following the position in all weather conditions to prepare and serve, ensuring that every delegate and every citizen when coming to the space of the Ministry of National Defense felt the thoughtfulness, solemnity and closeness. Serving the people is not only a security task but also shows the affection between the army and the people, promoting the tradition of "the army and the people are like fish and water", the forces organized the distribution of over 300,000 bottles of water, 250,000 packages of dry food, 70,000 cartons of milk to the service forces and the people. The gifts contain the affection and gratitude of the Army towards the people.

Technical assurance work was strictly maintained. 100% of displayed weapons and equipment were preserved, maintained, and ensured technical coefficients according to regulations. Measures were deployed to prevent fire and explosion, lightning protection, cover, and preserve equipment in adverse weather conditions, ensuring absolute safety. The catering force demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, ensuring hot, nutritious meals for the troops. On average, over 1,000 meals were served per day for the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, and forces, ensuring absolute safety and food hygiene during the entire exhibition. The medical force ensured good treatment, emergency care, medicine distribution, and disease prevention throughout the exhibition, not only serving the Ministry of National Defense, but also directly supporting and rescuing many situations for the people...

Faced with harsh weather conditions and long working hours, the Organizing Committee promptly directed the addition of Oresol, vitamin C and increased cooling drinks such as salted lemon, black bean water to protect the health of officers and soldiers. Financial work was implemented strictly and in accordance with procedures. Budget estimates were compiled and evaluated promptly; Consulting and proposing to increase food standards, encouraging spirit, ensuring health for forces on long-term duty at the exhibition.

The information and propaganda work at the exhibition was well directed, closely coordinated with press agencies inside and outside the army, publishing thousands of news and articles deeply reflecting the activities of the Ministry of National Defense. Many short clips were produced and spread effectively on social networks. The team of reporters, editors and field forces recorded many authentic images and documents, contributing to the dissemination of information, attracting a large number of people and tourists, making an important contribution to the success of the Exhibition.

Full of military-civilian affection

Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, Deputy Head of the Exhibition Steering Committee of the Ministry of National Defense, said that the exhibition space of the Ministry of National Defense has attracted and welcomed millions of visitors, contributing significantly to the overall success of the exhibition. The exhibition area of the Ministry of National Defense has unique and rich content, creative and modern forms of expression, and is deeply educational and inspirational.

Through the exhibition, the good image of Uncle Ho's soldiers has been spread, strengthening the solidarity and close relationship between the army and the people. The officers, soldiers and forces participating in the exhibition of the Ministry of National Defense have shown a high sense of responsibility, serious and disciplined working attitude and style; maintaining good military-civilian relations and the image of the Army.

People and visitors expressed their emotions when experiencing historical stories, pride in the tradition and strength of our Army, and impressions of highly interactive activities (combining history with technology). Practical experience activities such as shooting simulation, virtual driving, and camouflage skill demonstrations created opportunities for people to experience and try on special camouflage costumes, which were highly appreciated for their richness and diversity.

Besides, the images of soldiers giving water, dry food, giving umbrellas to people to protect them from the rain and sun, or medical forces being thanked by people from afar... have left a good impression, showing the people's trust and love for the Army.

International friends visiting the exhibition expressed their impression of the development and modernization process of the Vietnam People's Army; appreciated the way Vietnam combined tradition and modern technology to convey historical messages and patriotism; and acknowledged the thoughtfulness in the organization, especially the arrangement of exhibits and the explanation system.

After the exhibition, the army forces urgently completed the dismantling and site clearance work; and moved weapons and equipment back to their units to ensure absolute safety for people and property.

At the exhibition, with the spirit of returning to the roots, demonstrating social responsibility and military-civilian sentiment, 14 businesses and units voluntarily supported and sponsored a total value of 7 billion VND, of which 2.6 billion VND in cash and 4.4 billion VND in kind.
