Announcing the decision on personnel work at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city

On the morning of November 4, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hanoi city, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work.

Attending and chairing the Conference were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanoi City agencies; also attending were comrades Bui Huyen Mai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City; Nguyen Van Thang, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Chuong My Ward.

At the Conference, representatives of the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced decisions of the Hanoi Party Committee's Standing Committee on personnel work at the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

According to Notice No. 20-TB/TU and Project No. 01-DA/TU dated October 30, 2025, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned and introduced Comrade Bui Huyen Mai, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City to negotiate to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City. According to Decision No. 63-QD/DU, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee appointed Comrade Bui Huyen Mai to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City for the 2025-2030 term.

According to Decision No. 218-QD/TU, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned comrade Nguyen Van Thang, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Chuong My Ward, to cease holding his position at Chuong My Ward, to work at the City Labor Federation, holding the position of Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the City Labor Federation.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong congratulated comrades Bui Huyen Mai and Nguyen Van Thang on being trusted and assigned new tasks. He affirmed that the completion of the cadre work after the 18th City Party Congress is an important task, especially for the Vietnam Fatherland Front when preparing to organize the 18th City Fatherland Front Congress. The role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is not only a bridge between the Party and the people but also a center for solidarity, propaganda, dissemination and implementation of the Party's resolutions and the State's policies and laws to the people. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee hopes that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city will do a good job in perfecting the organization, promoting the role of solidarity and mobilizing the people, and requesting comrade Bui Huyen Mai to direct the preparation of the City Fatherland Front Congress, concretizing the Resolution of the 18th City Party Congress into each action program and socio-political organization, aiming at the goal of improving the quality of life of the people of the capital.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee said that Comrade Nguyen Van Thang is highly appreciated for his rich working process, especially his practical experience from the grassroots. The City Party Committee believes that Comrade Nguyen Van Thang will promote his youth, enthusiasm and experience to lead the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in the capital to develop strongly, making a positive contribution to the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.

Also on the morning of November 4, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City held the 6th Conference, term XVIII (term 2024 - 2029). The Conference elected Comrade Bui Huyen Mai to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, term XVIII, term 2024 - 2029. Comrade Bui Huyen Mai expressed her honor, emotion and gratitude for the trust of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city. She affirmed that she will strive to learn, promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, and together with the collective of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, continue to build a strong Front, perform well the role of a bridge between the Party and the people, contributing to realizing the Resolution of the 18th City Party Congress, building a civilized, modern and happy Capital.
