According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm No. 13 moves faster (30 km/h), maintaining strong intensity when making landfall; the western areas of Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak provinces (the old Central Highlands) have strong winds of level 8, level 9, gusting to level 11.
To proactively respond to storms, the National Civil Defense Steering Committee requests ministries, branches and People's Committees of provinces and cities to strictly implement the direction of the Prime Minister and the National Civil Defense Steering Committee with earlier and more drastic requirements.
The western region of Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak provinces (the former Central Highlands region) focuses on directing storm response measures, ensuring safety for people and infrastructure, and avoiding being passive or surprised.
