Vietnamese businesses show steady growth in 2025. According to data from Amazon, in the past year, as of July 31, 2025, the number of products sold by Vietnamese sales partners increased by nearly 35% compared to the same period last year. This growth shows the growing role of global B2C e-commerce as an emerging export channel for Vietnam.

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) has become an important tool for Vietnamese businesses to improve logistics efficiency. The number of goods shipped via FBA increased by nearly 40% in 2025, reflecting the focus of Vietnamese sellers on ensuring reliable delivery and customer service globally.

The top 5 best-selling product categories of Vietnamese sellers on Amazon include: Home, Kitchen, Health and Personal Care, Fashion, and Beauty - which will remain stable in 2025, reflecting Vietnam's inherent manufacturing strengths. Typical examples include the success stories of Coolmate in the garment industry and Green Mekong with interior products. Many new opportunities are opening up in categories such as Food, with brands such as VIDA Farm or VINUT introducing Vietnamese agricultural products to global consumers.

Amazon will continue to leverage its resources and advantages in global infrastructure, digitalization and technological innovation, customer coverage and trust, explore new opportunities, and provide local services through Amazon Global Selling Vietnam to support businesses in expanding their global business.

“With its rapid digital transformation and strong export-oriented economy , Vietnam is perfectly positioned for e-commerce export growth. We have been building the foundation to support Vietnam’s rise in the global e-commerce sector. Today, we are excited to announce our 2026 strategy to accelerate Vietnam’s transformation into a high-quality e-commerce export hub for Southeast Asia. Amazon’s comprehensive innovative solutions and technologies will help Vietnamese businesses turn their strengths into sustainable global success, contributing to the realization of the country’s vision of digital transformation and high-quality export growth,” said Larry Hu, Head of Amazon Global Selling Southeast Asia.

At the event, Amazon also announced the launch of the Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) cross-border shipping program, making Vietnam the second country in the world to be selected as an FBA origin point of AGL, allowing local businesses to access a comprehensive logistics solution that connects directly to Amazon’s network of fulfillment centers in the United States. This launch allows local businesses to focus on their manufacturing strengths to expand their international business and let Amazon manage the entire cross-border logistics process from picking to delivery at fulfillment centers.

A comprehensive suite of new AI-powered tools was also introduced at the conference, including Seller Assistant for operational efficiency (from account health and compliance support to inventory management and growth), Product Opportunity Explorer for product and market opportunity insights, Enhance My Listing for optimizing product listings, and Ads Creative Studio for improved marketing effectiveness. In addition, the new NAMI initiative will serve as a one-stop shop designed to connect Vietnamese sales partners with industry experts, provide comprehensive training programs, and promote networking opportunities through systematic growth programs.

Amazon Global Selling’s 2025 Annual Conference unveiled a comprehensive roadmap to boost Vietnam’s e-commerce export capabilities. Through innovative logistics solutions, AI-powered tools, and enhanced support for sales partners, Amazon Global Selling aims to help Vietnamese businesses access international markets, unlock opportunities, and build sustainable success in the global digital economy.
