Organizing Vietnam Logistics Forum 2025 in Da Nang

(Chinhphu.vn) - According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, on November 28-29, the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2025 is expected to be held in Da Nang City. This is not only a large-scale annual event of the logistics industry but also a strategic milestone, opening a new development stage for Vietnam's logistics services.

Vietnam Logistics Forum is the leading annual event of the industry, chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade , with the goal of promoting the development of logistics services, strengthening logistics links with manufacturing and import-export industries, and at the same time being a place for dialogue, exchange, and updating important information on the domestic and international logistics sector.

With the theme "Vietnam Logistics - Reaching into a New Era", the 2025 Forum is both an event continuing the annual series of activities and expressing the aspiration to elevate the logistics industry in a period of strong transformation. The Forum creates opportunities for management agencies, experts and businesses to discuss and propose solutions for industry development, promote the improvement of governance institutions and affirm the pivotal role of logistics in the national economy .

The forum will take place over two days. November 28, 2025, will be dedicated to field surveys at ports and logistics centers in Da Nang . The purpose of the survey is to introduce the potential for logistics and infrastructure development in these areas. On the morning of November 29, 2025, a plenary session will take place with the participation and chairing of the Prime Minister and representatives of ministries, branches and localities. The session is general in nature but reflects the importance of Vietnam within the framework of the forum.

In the afternoon of the same day, a seminar session on "Finding breakthrough opportunities for logistics in the Central region" will take place. The afternoon session will emphasize the strategic importance of developing infrastructure, logistics and trade in the Central region, while promoting self-reliance in combination with regional countries such as Thailand and Laos to launch economic corridors, linking logistics activities with actual goods, creating a foundation for sustainable regional connectivity.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the selection of Da Nang as the venue for the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2025 is of strategic significance. With its central location in the Central region, Da Nang is the hub of the East-West economic corridor, connecting Vietnam with Laos, Thailand and Myanmar, and is also the gateway to the East Sea for the extended Mekong sub-region. In particular, the Central region is a key potential area that has not been adequately exploited, especially in the field of logistics. Investment in upgrading Lien Chieu port, expanding Tien Sa port, along with the North-South expressway network and Da Nang international airport, will help this area become an international logistics and freight transit center in the near future.
