Dong Nai: Kindergarten temporarily suspended after fire

On the morning of November 6, Mr. Lu Thanh Nam, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhon Trach Commune, Dong Nai Province, said that he had just requested the Board of Directors of SLC Sam Son Private Kindergarten to temporarily suspend operations to serve the investigation and ensure absolute safety before students return to school, after the fire on the second floor of the school on the afternoon of November 5.

Previously, immediately upon receiving information about the fire, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Force, Dong Nai Provincial Police, mobilized vehicles and human resources to control the fire and completely extinguished it after about 30 minutes.

Smoke from the fire was recorded by locals

SLC Sam Son Private Kindergarten has about 60 students, who were safely evacuated by teachers.

The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit in the school's equipment storage area.
