Ms. Bui Huyen Mai is the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City held a conference and consulted to elect Ms. Bui Huyen Mai, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City.

On November 4, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Ms. Bui Huyen Mai.

At the conference, the leaders of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced decisions on personnel work. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee's agencies appointed Ms. Bui Huyen Mai, Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi City Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee also decided to assign Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Chuong My Ward, to stop participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and stop holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Chuong My Ward for the 2025-2030 term, to work at the City Labor Federation to consolidate his position as Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, Chairman of the City Labor Federation.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong congratulated Ms. Bui Huyen Mai and Mr. Nguyen Van Thang on being trusted and assigned new tasks by the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee.

According to Mr. Phong, the 18th Hanoi Party Congress was a great success and one of the important tasks after the congress was to assign members of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the City Party Committee to perfect the organization and apparatus of the political system.

Considering the work requirements as well as working conditions, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned and introduced Ms. Bui Huyen Mai to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City; and assigned and introduced Mr. Nguyen Van Thang to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, Chairman of the City Labor Federation.

"In the current new period, the role of the Fatherland Front and political organizations is very important, not only as a bridge between the Party and the people but also playing a very important role in propagating, disseminating, thoroughly grasping and implementing the policies and resolutions of the Party and State to all classes of people according to the operating methods of the Vietnam Fatherland Front as stipulated in the Constitution and the Charter of the Front," said Mr. Phong.

On the same morning, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City held the 6th Conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, term XVIII, term 2024 - 2029. At the conference, delegates conducted consultations to elect Ms. Bui Huyen Mai to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City for the term 2024 - 2029.

In her acceptance speech, the new Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, Bui Huyen Mai, promised to make efforts, constantly learn, improve her sense of responsibility, and promote her work experience, so that the "house" of the Fatherland Front can develop further.
