Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My emphasized: Storm No. 13 is a storm with complex developments and a wide range of influence. Therefore, localities must absolutely not be subjective and must put the task of ensuring the safety of people's lives and property first.
Localities urgently review and update response plans according to each level of natural disaster risk; arrange forces on duty 24/7, ready to handle emergency situations. The agricultural and transport sectors coordinate to check the safety of dams, irrigation works, and traffic. The police, military, and border forces prepare adequate means and forces, ready to support evacuation and rescue when requested.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My also requested localities and departments to regularly update and report the situation to the Standing Office of the Provincial Civil Defense Command for timely direction and management. After the storm, it is necessary to quickly count the damage and implement remedial measures to soon stabilize people's lives and production.
