According to the preliminary report of the People's Committee of Ea Wy commune, heavy rain with strong gusts of wind caused localized flooding in many low-lying areas along streams such as: Bang Lang Bridge (village 9), village 2A, bridge areas of villages 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D...
The whole commune has about 20 houses flooded 50cm - 1m. Some buildings had their roofs blown off; fences collapsed, electric poles and signs fell down such as: Ea Wy Primary School, Le Dinh Chinh Primary School, Ngo May Secondary School, Cu Mot Kindergarten and the branch of Tuoi Ngoc Kindergarten, the headquarters of the Commune Military Command...

Regarding agricultural production, strong winds knocked down many areas of durian, rubber, coffee, pepper...; of which about 200 durian trees that were in harvest could not be restored.
Traffic was temporarily cut off due to flooding of about 2 meters deep, mainly at Provincial Road 697B, Bang Lang Bridge (village 9), Village 4A Bridge and residential area of Village 4B. Notably, upon inspection, the inter-village bridge in Villages 4A and 4C was damaged, with two bridge abutments severely eroded, posing a potential risk to traffic safety.

Immediately after the storm, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Ea Wy commune mobilized the police force and militia to be on duty 24/7, set up checkpoints and put up warning ropes at flooded areas; and assisted people in moving their belongings and livestock to safe places. Units, schools, villages and hamlets quickly cleared sewers, trimmed fallen trees, and temporarily repaired damage at school sites.
Currently, the functional forces are continuing to review and count the damage; the Commune People's Committee has also reported to the Provincial People's Committee to pay attention to supporting the overcoming of storm and rain consequences; promptly invest in and solidify bridges, culverts, and spillways, especially the people's bridges in villages 4C and 4D because this is an area at risk of being isolated if heavy rain continues.
