According to Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan, up to this point, educational establishments have cleaned up schools and classrooms when floodwaters receded; trimmed and cleaned up damaged trees and structures; and checked and repaired damaged electrical systems.
The Director of the Department of Education and Training requested units and schools to continue to proactively coordinate with local authorities to overcome the consequences, clean up fallen trees, garbage, mud; disinfect the environment, and ensure school hygiene. At the same time, schools coordinate with local health centers to prevent and control post-storm epidemics (pink eye, skin diseases, digestive diseases...).
Schools check and evaluate the safety of the construction, and only resume teaching when safety conditions are confirmed; develop plans for compensatory teaching and psychological support for students in affected areas. In addition, educational institutions review and evaluate the situation to organize teaching and learning to ensure the safety of children, pupils and students.
