-Fatty liver grade 2 often originates from a number of common causes.
Grade 2 fatty liver is the intermediate stage - a transitional stage between mild (grade 1) and severe (grade 3) fatty liver.
Eating habits : Consuming too many fatty foods such as animal organs, fried foods, fast foods, etc. will make the liver unable to process and metabolize all the fat. This condition, if prolonged, will increase the amount of fat accumulated in the liver.
High/low blood sugar: People with diabetes are at higher risk of fatty liver than healthy people. This is because when blood sugar levels increase, it will partially reduce the liver's ability to remove bad LDL cholesterol. This process occurs over time, causing the liver to accumulate more cholesterol and leading to fatty liver. When blood sugar drops low, the body will have to release a certain amount of energy to compensate. This energy compensation, if at a high level and regularly, will also increase the amount of fat in the liver.
Alcoholic beverages : Beer, especially wine, when entering the body will increase the amount of free fatty acids and at the same time disrupt the liver's fat oxidation process. Alcoholic beverages also destroy lipids and increase the level of triglycerides (blood fat index) stored in the liver. This is considered the leading cause of fatty liver.
Lack of exercise : Energy intake is high but not released due to lack of exercise, it will be converted into fat. The increased amount of fat will be a burden on the liver.
How to treat grade 2 fatty liver
In addition to taking medication as directed by your doctor, you should follow a scientific diet.
First, you must give up alcohol and beer. Alcoholic beverages are a factor that needs to be eliminated immediately if you have liver disease to avoid rapid liver cell fibrosis, causing liver failure and liver cancer.
Reduce carbohydrate intake. Starch and sugar are two sources of carbohydrates that people with fatty liver disease need to reduce to avoid increasing blood sugar, making fatty liver worse.
Limit your intake of foods high in cholesterol. Animal organs, fried foods, processed meats, cakes, ice cream, etc. are foods high in cholesterol that should be avoided.
Increase fiber by adding green vegetables, fruits, beans, and whole grains. These foods not only provide abundant fiber but also provide the body with a large amount of vitamins and minerals to help strengthen the immune system. Improved overall health will improve liver function.
