Thus, shareholders owning one share will receive 3,000 VND, and with approximately 366 million shares listed and outstanding, Gelex Power Company will have to spend about 1,098 billion VND to distribute dividends to existing shareholders.
The ex-dividend date is August 20th, and the expected dividend payment date is September 10th.
The 30% dividend rate was approved at the 2025 Annual General Meeting. However, according to the documents for the 2025 Extraordinary General Meeting, scheduled for August 15th, GEE plans to adjust the dividend rate to 60%, with 40% in cash (4,000 VND per share) and 20% in shares (20 new shares for every 100 existing shares). If approved, GEE will need at least one more cash dividend payment to complete its annual plan.
The basis for adjusting the plan stems from GEE's outstanding business results in the first half of 2025. By the end of the second quarter, GEE achieved nearly VND 11.8 trillion in revenue, a 30.6% increase compared to the same period last year; pre-tax profit reached VND 1,330 billion, a 61.8% increase. This result is equivalent to achieving nearly 53% of the revenue plan and 78.8% of the pre-tax profit target for the year.
Considering the positive market dynamics and growth potential in the second half of the year, the GEE Board of Directors is presenting to the General Meeting of Shareholders a revised business plan for 2025, which includes a 6.8% increase in revenue and a 107.5% increase in pre-tax profit compared to the previous plan.
In terms of business performance, in the second quarter of 2025, GELEX Electric's consolidated net revenue reached VND 6,510 billion, an increase of 22.6% compared to the same period in 2024; consolidated pre-tax profit reached VND 722 billion, an increase of 7.0% compared to the same period.
For the first six months of the year, the company achieved revenue of VND 11,791 billion, an increase of VND 2,761 billion, equivalent to a 30.6% increase; pre-tax profit reached VND 1,330 billion, an increase of 61.8% compared to the same period in the first six months of 2024.
As of June 30, 2025, GELEX Electric's total assets reached VND 14,360 billion, an increase of VND 1,457 billion, or 11.3%, compared to January 1, 2025, mainly due to an increase in short-term assets.
