This is an annual academic activity organized by students of the Faculty of Marketing - Communication, aiming to contribute to arousing love for culture and national history through the creative language of Gen Z generation.
As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification (1975–2025), TVCreate 2025 is not only a national playground for TVC (commercial film) creation, but also a bridge between heritage and the young generation.
Notably, this year the contest marks a collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History, instead of receiving submissions from commercial enterprises like previous seasons. The teams were “ordered” by the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History to produce TVCs promoting the museum, thereby raising awareness of culture and history in the community.
Originating in 2010 at the school level, after 15 years of development, TVCreate has now become a professional practical academic playground, attracting more than 200 students from 36 universities nationwide such as Foreign Trade University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics , Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology...
The entire organization process, from project development, fundraising, communication implementation to event coordination, is carried out by HSU students, under the professional guidance of lecturers and experts in the communications and marketing industry.
After a fierce competition, 4 excellent teams surpassed 68 teams to enter the final round, bringing unique TVC products imbued with national identity.
The Gala ended with exciting competitions, including TVC product screening, test presentation, and answering questions from the judges.
As a result, the championship prize of the contest belonged to the Freedom Girls team with the TVC product "History" (a group of students from the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology).
Students from the two schools told a touching story about the journey connecting the past and present through the character "Mr. Bao", the embodiment of national memory.
The runner-up prize was awarded to De Khong Mot team with the TVC “0.1 quality, I am 99.9 Vietnamese code” (Foreign Trade University, Campus II), combining traditional images such as ancient dragons, Cham drums, tattoo ink... to tell the story of the identity of the young generation.
The two runners-up were the Ba con ca team with the TVC product “Su sac”, affirming that “history is not only for studying but also for living together” and the Que Te Que team with the product “Pach di giac”, bringing heritage into the flow of contemporary culture with vivid colors and images. Both teams came from Foreign Trade University Campus II.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the most favorite TVC award to POPI team with the advertising product for the film "Source" (Hoa Sen University).
The total value of the prizes is 500 million VND.
The jury of the final Gala includes prestigious experts in the creative and media industry such as Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History; Journalist Nguyen Trong Phuoc - Director of Digital Content Development Center, Thanh Nien Newspaper; Director Kawaii Tuan Anh; Director Alien Media;
