No matter what type of art he is involved in, Huynh Trieu Phu always puts his heart first, strives to sing well, act well, and live ethically.
Since the second grade, little Trieu Phu has known how to sing. “While my peers watched other forms of entertainment , I was interested in ĐCTT and cải lương. Whenever I saw an artist singing on TV, I would listen attentively and sing along,” Triệu Phú shared. The youngest son was the one who discovered Triệu Phú’s talent. He took him to the house of musician Hoàng Ràng and artist Thiên Thanh in Hậu Nghĩa town to learn more about singing. Thanks to his talent, he progressed very quickly, and the more he studied, the more he loved this art form .
Trieu Phu said: “My grandparents (musician Hoang Rang and his wife) not only taught me how to sing, but also taught me how to be a good person. They explained every play or story thoroughly, analyzing right and wrong. Thanks to that foundation, I have achieved what I have today.”
In 2015, Trieu Phu won First Prize at the Long An Province Music Festival with the performance Vietnam Ho Chi Minh ; at the same time, he became the youngest contestant to achieve this achievement. In the same year, with the same performance, Trieu Phu won the Silver Medal in the Golden Lotus Award at the Ho Chi Minh City Music Festival. In 2016, Trieu Phu participated in the Super Kid Talent Show and won third prize in the class. In the same year, he won Second Prize at the Long An Province Music Festival.
In 2024, Trieu Phu participated in the Cai Luong Academy program. Thanks to his singing talent and natural acting style, he excelled in the top 17 of the program. He was evaluated by many seniors in the profession as someone with a unique, warm voice that attracts listeners.

Currently, Trieu Phu is studying at Van Lang University. He studies culture and participates in performing arts. Although he has been away from home a lot since he was young, his family has been very supportive and created the most favorable conditions for him to pursue his passion. His father is a driver, his mother is a worker, and whenever they have free time, they often come to watch their child perform.
According to Trieu Phu, many young people today love ĐCTT and cải lương, but they need to have a suitable form of expression. Knowing that, he often researches and studies singing and acting methods to easily approach this audience. “Many young people watch me perform, and as soon as I raise my voice, they know what play and role it is. That makes me very happy,” Trieu Phu added.
From ĐCTT, cải lương, Triệu Phú has now “invaded” the folk music genre and has been warmly welcomed by audiences and listeners. Triệu Phú said, no matter what genre he performs, he always puts his heart first, strives to sing well, act well, and live ethically so as not to disappoint his ancestors and those who have trusted and expected him./.
