Tay Ninh's agricultural products and industries are encouraged and prioritized to support production-consumption linkage.

Tay Ninh province has just issued a Decision approving the List of important agricultural products and industries that need encouragement and priority support to link production with product consumption in the province, effective from January 1, 2026.

Accordingly, 12 groups of key products and industries are prioritized for support, including: Food crops (rice, corn, yam); vegetables (leafy vegetables, tubers, VietGAP spices, organic, watermelon, lotus, cantaloupe); mushrooms (straw mushrooms, abalone, lingzhi, catfish); medicinal plants (turmeric, ginseng); industrial plants (cashew, sugarcane, peanuts, sesame); livestock, poultry and aquatic products such as chicken, duck, pig, cow, tra fish, tilapia, shrimp, frog.

In addition, fruit trees (soursop, longan, banana, durian, dragon fruit, lemon, jackfruit, coconut, mango, grapefruit, pineapple, rambutan) and ornamental flowers (apricot, orchid) are also on the encouraged list.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade, the People's Committees of localities, and related units to inform, promote, and publicize the product catalog, in order to support the construction of production linkage models associated with stable and sustainable consumption. Every year, units and localities are responsible for reporting the implementation results to the Department of Agriculture and Environment before December 15 for synthesis and submission to the Provincial People's Committee.

Lemon trees are also on the list of encouraged and supported plants.

The approval of this list is a step to concretize the policy of developing agriculture in the direction of linking value chains, linking production with consumption markets, thereby creating a driving force to promote sustainable development of Tay Ninh agriculture and increase income for farmers.

The Decision also clearly states that previous decisions of the Provincial People's Committee on the list of agricultural products and industries supported for production-consumption linkage will expire from December 31, 2025 and be replaced by this new Decision./.
