The price of live pigs today, July 15, recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in some provinces in the North and Central Highlands. There were no new fluctuations in the Southern provinces.

Pig price today in the North

In the North, pig prices recorded a slight downward trend in some provinces.

Specifically, three localities including Lao Cai, Lai Chau and Dien Bien all reduced the price by VND1,000/kg, currently purchasing live pigs at VND65,000/kg. In addition, Phu Tho also reduced the price by VND1,000, down to VND66,000/kg.

In the remaining localities, prices continue to remain stable. The provinces of Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Lang Son and Quang Ninh are trading around 66,000 VND/kg. Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Hai Phong, Ninh Binh and Hung Yen are currently purchasing live pigs at 67,000 VND/kg.

Today's live pig price in the North fluctuates between 65,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today in the Central Highlands region

In the Central and Central Highlands regions, the price of live pigs today did not record any change compared to yesterday. Most provinces such as Quang Tri, Quang Nam , Quang Ngai, Da Nang... maintained the price from 65,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.

In Gia Lai, although the price is still the lowest in the region at 64,000 VND/kg, the price of pork has not decreased further compared to the previous session. This stability helps the Central Highlands not be swept away by the wave of price reductions from the North.

Pig price today in the Southern region

In the South, the live pig market today recorded no new adjustments compared to the previous day.

Dong Nai, An Giang, Ca Mau and Can Tho provinces are purchasing live pigs at VND67,000/kg. Tay Ninh, Dong Thap and Ho Chi Minh City maintain the price at VND66,000/kg, while Vinh Long maintains it at VND65,000/kg.

Thus, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today fluctuates from 65,000 VND/kg to 67,000 VND/kg.
