The South is "immobile": The market is stable in price, waiting for new momentum
The Southern live hog market started the new day in a completely calm state. Like other regions, hog prices in all surveyed provinces and cities remained absolutely stable, without recording any increase or decrease.
This stability is concentrated in two main price zones, showing strong regional uniformity:
Leading price range of 58,000 VND/kg: Tay Ninh, An Giang, and Ca Mau provinces are setting the highest prices in the region, affirming the position of these localities in consumption or supply.
Common price range of 57,000 VND/kg: This is the main price level, including Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long, and Can Tho. This shows the uniformity of prices in major economic and urban centers.
Notably, Dong Thap is keeping the lowest price at 55,000 VND/kg, creating a clear differentiation compared to neighboring localities.

Ninh Binh develops specialty pig breeds: Support for caring for commercial pigs
In order to promote sustainable livestock farming and increase income for people, Ninh Binh Agricultural Extension Center has just coordinated with the People's Committee of Phu Long commune (Nho Quan) to organize the handover of 200 commercial Huong pigs to Mr. Trinh Van Long's household.
Huong Pig is a livestock breed highly valued for its good adaptability, delicious meat quality and outstanding economic value, completely suitable for local development conditions.
Immediately after receiving the pigs, the technical staff immediately got involved, providing detailed instructions on initial care and health recovery measures. The most important highlight in the technical process is vaccination. Farmers are advised to vaccinate at least three basic vaccines: against cholera, septicemia and paratyphoid. In particular, the African swine fever vaccine is given top priority in the context of the complicated developments of the epidemic.
The close accompaniment of technical staff not only helps Mr. Long's family feel secure in production but also creates an important premise for expanding the effective Huong pig farming model. This is considered a positive step, directly contributing to the strategy of increasing income and developing a sustainable livestock industry in Ninh Binh.
