Pig prices today (August 7) fluctuated in different directions in some localities across the country. In particular, the North and the Central Highlands - Central region decreased slightly, while the South increased in Vinh Long . The current purchase price ranges from 57,000 VND/kg to 65,000 VND/kg, the South is the region with the highest pig purchase price.

In the North, the price of live pigs today is generally stable, with only one locality recording a price decrease. Currently, the purchase price ranges from 62,000 VND/kg to 64,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, the price of pork in Ninh Binh decreased by VND1,000/kg, down to VND63,000/kg. Localities such as Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Hai Phong and Hung Yen continued to maintain the highest price in the region at VND64,000/kg. Meanwhile, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Lai Chau, Dien Bien and Son La all maintained the lowest price in the region at VND62,000/kg.

The remaining provinces such as Quang Ninh, Lao Cai and Phu Tho are currently purchasing at 63,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands region, the market today recorded a slight decrease in two localities. The current purchase price fluctuates from 57,000 VND/kg to 63,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, pork prices in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An both decreased by VND1,000/kg, down to VND61,000/kg. Ha Tinh maintained the price at VND61,000/kg. Provinces such as Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang and Quang Ngai continued to stay at a low level of VND58,000/kg, while Gia Lai remained the locality with the lowest price in the region at VND57,000/kg.

Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa maintained the level of 60,000 VND/kg, while Lam Dong continued to be the locality with the highest price in the Central Highlands - Central region with 63,000 VND/kg.

In the South, the price of live pigs increased slightly in one locality, while other places remained unchanged compared to the previous session. The purchase price ranged from VND62,000/kg to VND65,000/kg.

Specifically, the price of pork in Vinh Long increased by VND1,000/kg to VND63,000/kg. Tay Ninh continues to be the locality with the highest price in the region at VND65,000/kg. Provinces such as Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City all stayed at VND64,000/kg. Can Tho is currently purchasing at VND63,000/kg, while An Giang maintains the lowest price in the region at VND62,000/kg.

Pork price today

According to a survey on the morning of August 7, the price of Meat Deli chilled pork remained stable on the website winmart.vn. Currently, the products are sold at around 119,922 - 163,122 VND/kg and are discounted by 20% under the preferential program for WinMart members.

Of these, pork belly has the highest selling price among the surveyed products, listed at 163,122 VND/kg. Following are lean pork, boneless pork leg and lean pork shoulder, with selling prices of 157,520 VND/kg, 127,922 VND/kg and 126,320 VND/kg respectively.

Pork prices at Ha Hien Food Company remained stable this morning. Currently, pork products are sold at around VND89,000 - 190,000/kg.

Of which, pork ribs are currently holding the highest price at 190,000 VND/kg. Lower are pig tails at 176,000 VND/kg and pork belly at 166,000 VND/kg. Following are pork shoulder, pork ribs and pork thigh with prices ranging from 126,000 - 136,000 VND/kg.
