In recent days, people coming to do procedures at the Liao Tu Commune Public Administration Service Center have enjoyed the relaxing experience of using massage machines while waiting. At the center, 2 massage machines are arranged in the waiting area equipped with air conditioning, with a notice "Massage machines serving citizens".

Having just experienced the massage machine while waiting to receive documents, Mr. Son Sen (73 years old, residing in Bung Triet hamlet, Lieu Tu commune) said: "I feel very comfortable, people not only have their procedures resolved quickly but also receive enthusiastic and thoughtful service".

Mr. Hong Minh Quyen, Deputy Director of the Public Administration Service Center of Lieu Tu Commune, Can Tho City, said that at first, people were hesitant to experience the massage machine, but thanks to the guidance of the center's staff, they gradually got used to it. After more than 1 month of implementation, people now actively experience it every time they come to do procedures and seem very satisfied and excited.

The above massage machines were provided by Lieu Tu commune from social mobilization funds. In addition to the 2 massage machines, the commune also mobilized social mobilization to equip computers, air conditioners, scanners and photocopiers to provide free services to people in need of support. The total cost of implementation is over 200 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duy, Secretary of Lieu Tu Commune, said that the commune's public administrative service center was requisitioned from the former commune health station, and its physical facilities were limited. Therefore, since the operation of the two-level local government, the commune has mobilized social resources to modernize the center. This is the commune's determination to improve the quality of public services, people's satisfaction, and move towards building an image of a friendly, close-to-the-people and responsible government.
