Meeting and introducing information about the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai), 2025

Implementing the national program on trade promotion in 2025, on the afternoon of August 7, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Organizing Committee of the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025 held a meeting to introduce information about the fair.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Department of Finance of Lao Cai province; the Department of Commerce of Honghe Province, Yunnan Province (China); leaders of the Trade and Investment Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, An Giang; the Vietnam Business Club, over 100 businesses and reporters from press agencies in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair ( Lao Cai ) in 2025 with the theme: "Lao Cai and Yunnan - Connection and Development" will be held from November 19 - 24, 2025, at Kim Thanh Exhibition Center, Lao Cai Ward, Lao Cai Province.

The fair has over 200 domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises participating, with a scale of 500 - 550 standard booths and about 4,000 ^m2 of exhibition area.

The fair will be an effective bridge for domestic and foreign enterprises to strengthen cooperation, promote trade, import and export activities, seek partners, sign economic contracts, joint ventures to expand product consumption markets, especially the Chinese market. The fair also aims to promote and introduce the potential and unique and diverse tourism products of Lao Cai province, as well as of other provinces to domestic and foreign tourists.

On the sidelines of the fair, important investment, trade and tourism promotion activities will take place, such as: Conference to introduce mechanisms, policies, and investment attraction projects; Economic and trade cooperation talks between Lao Cai (Vietnam) and Yunnan (China); Conference to introduce import-export policies and mechanisms combined with trade between Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises; Megalive program to introduce, promote and sell products directly at the fair.

Representatives of businesses attending the conference raised questions related to policies to support businesses participating in the fair.

Activities within the framework of the fair will provide information and solutions to help Vietnamese enterprises seek cooperation opportunities, boost growth in import-export turnover through Lao Cai International Border Gate; promote cooperation, economic development, trade - services - tourism for Lao Cai and the Northwestern provinces, provinces in the economic corridor "Kunming - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh".

At the same time, create conditions for Lao Cai enterprises in particular and the whole country in general to learn about the market of Yunnan province, creating momentum for expansion to the southwestern provinces (China) and a number of other countries and territories in the world; gradually build Lao Cai into an important gateway, a center connecting economic trade between Vietnam and ASEAN countries with the southwestern region - China.

Leaders of the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support of Lao Cai province signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Business Club.

At the conference, the leaders of Lao Cai Province's Department of Finance introduced Lao Cai Province (after the merger) and the system of customs clearance gates; the potentials, strengths, trade economy and border gates of the province. At the same time, they answered questions related to the fair; support for businesses of Lao Cai Province and Hong Ha District, Yunnan Province, China.
