Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating between 5,900 - 6,200 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuated between 5,400 - 5,600 VND/kg; the price of OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuated between 5,500 - 5,800 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuated between 6,800 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuated between 6,800 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuated between 6,650 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the supply of Summer-Autumn rice is slow, the price fluctuates little. In Can Tho, Summer-Autumn rice is stable, traders buy slowly, the price is stable. In An Giang , the supply of early Summer-Autumn rice is low, farmers offer increasing prices, traders buy slowly, the price is relatively stable.

In Tien Giang , Summer-Autumn rice transactions are sporadic, rice prices are stable. In Kien Giang, Summer-Autumn rice transactions are sparse, prices are stable. In Long An, Summer-Autumn rice prices are sporadic, new buying and selling transactions are slow.

Similar to rice, according to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently, IR 504 raw rice increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 8,250 - 8,350 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice fluctuated at 8,600 - 8,900 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuated at 8,000 - 8,100 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice fluctuated at 10,200 - 10,400 VND/kg; 5451 raw rice fluctuated at 9,600 - 9,750 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuated at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,150 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice fluctuates at 7,350 - 7,450 VND/kg; bran prices fluctuate at 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, the supply of 50404 and OM 380 varieties is low, the demand for white rice is better than the warehouse price, the price is higher than the price of good rice; the price fluctuates little. In An Giang, the quantity is small, the price of good rice is stable, the warehouse price fluctuates more than the price of white raw rice. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is small, the price of all types of rice is relatively stable. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the price of fragrant raw rice increases slightly from 50-100 VND/kg.

Sa Dec market channel (Dong Thap) has better quantity, market warehouses buy good rice regularly, stable prices. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), quantity is sporadic, buying and selling transactions are still slow, prices fluctuate little.

At retail markets, prices of rice of all kinds remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of 28,000 VND/kg; regular rice fluctuates at 13,000 - 15,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at 16,000 - 18,000 VND/kg; common white rice fluctuates at 16,000 VND/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at 17,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice 22,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 397 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 368 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 321 USD/ton.
