The Indonesian bourse was the only bright spot in the bearish trend. The decline, while not huge, showed a market correction in the region.
At major exchanges such as Brazil and Malaysia, pepper prices continued to remain stable. This shows the balance between supply and demand in these markets.
Vietnam's pepper export prices remain stable after a recent sharp decline. This shows that the market has adjusted and is finding a new balance.

In contrast to the stability of the world market, domestic pepper prices in Vietnam tend to increase across all growing regions. This is a positive signal for farmers.
VPSA's report shows that pepper output in the 2025 crop is estimated at 180,000 tons, down 10,000 tons compared to last year. The decrease in supply will be one of the main factors pushing up pepper prices.
Experts say businesses are returning to buy to stock up when prices are low. Expectations of a vibrant export market at the end of the year are also a major driving force behind this purchase.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade's issuance of new guidelines allowing businesses to self-declare the origin of goods without local confirmation has helped simplify the export process, creating more favorable conditions for businesses and indirectly supporting pepper prices.
