Industrial production value reached 5,082.7 billion VND

In the first 10 months of 2023, the industrial production value reached 5,082.7 billion VND, equal to 75.86% (plan) of the yearly plan, up 59.78% over the same period in 2022. The value of handicraft production in districts and cities reached 777.56 billion VND , equal to 87.94% , up 38.9 % over the same period in 2022.

Enterprises produced 178,200 tons of steel billets, exceeding the yearly plan by 7.22%, up 71.26% over the same period; 24,260 tons of nickel-copper concentrate, equal to 24.26% of the plan; 30,220 tons of raw manganese ore and manganese concentrate, equal to 67.16% of the plan, down 33.1%; 10,740 tons of ferro manganese of all kinds, equal to 33.25% of the plan, down 18.8%; produced 470.1 million kWh of electricity, equal to 59.43% of the plan, down 29.5%...

Currently, some Fero manganese processing factories of Nhat Anh Company in Ngu Lao commune (Hoa An), Phong Chau fero furnace of Industrial Minerals Joint Stock Company; Nam Mach Trading Enterprise are still suspended due to ineffective business operations, Cao Bang Manganese Industry Joint Stock Company has reduced production from 6 furnaces to 1 furnace due to high inventory of manganese ore and unsold output.
