The price of gold bars at Saigon Jewelry Company - SJC is currently being bought at 119.5 million VND/tael, sold at 121.5 million VND, an increase of 600,000 VND. The difference between buying and selling gold bars remains at 2 million VND/tael. Similar to last week, although the price of gold has been continuously increasing, buyers after a week still lost 1.4 VND/tael because the increase was lower than the difference between buying and selling prices.

Similarly, the price of 4-9 gold rings at SJC Company also increased by 700,000 VND after one week, bringing the buying price to 115 million VND, and the selling price to 117.5 million VND. Gold ring buyers after one week also lost 1.8 million VND/tael because the difference in buying and selling prices was much higher than the increase. The highest price of gold rings on the market was sold at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company at 119.2 million VND while buying at 116.2 million VND.

World gold prices increased by more than 20 USD after a week, to 3,354.88 USD/ounce. The precious metal continued to record an increase in the face of trade tensions when US President Donald Trump announced the imposition of reciprocal tariffs on many countries and will be implemented from August 1. However, many analysts do not expect this increase next week. Specifically, in a survey by Kitco News with the participation of 15 analysts, 7 people, equivalent to 47%, said that gold will increase and 7 people, equivalent to 47%, predicted that gold will go sideways. Only 1 person said that gold will turn down.

Individual investors still predict that gold will continue to rise. In Kitco's online survey of 231 individual investors, 104 people, or 45%, predicted that gold prices would rise. On the contrary, 63 people, or 27%, said that gold would fall, and the remaining 64 investors, or 28%, thought that gold would go sideways./.
